Doctrinal Statement

We believe, all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness: so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16). The word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit of both joint and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

We believe in God the father, creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We rejoice that he concerns himself in the affairs of men, that he hears and answers when we pray, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to him through Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only son of the living God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and sinless in His life. We believe that he died on the cross to make atonement for the sins of the world. We believe he was buried and we believe in his bodily resurrection on the third day, and his ascension into heaven where he is seated at the right hand of God the father. We believe in His visible return to the world as a ruler to judge according to His promises.

We believe in the Holy spirit, who came from God to convince the world of sin, of righteousness and judgement, and to regenerate, sanctify and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that all men by nature and by choice are sinners, but that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have an everlasting life”. Therefore we believe that those who accept Christ as their Lord and savior will rejoice forever in God’s presence and those who refuse to accept Christ, as Lord and Saviour will be forever separated from God.

We believe that every human being is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith. We believe that every believer must have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, for apart from him, we can do nothing. Each person has a ministry from God that no one else can fill. We are to instruct, teach, exhort, and admonish believers in the ways of God. (John 15: 1-5; Hebrews 13: 5-6).

We believe that we are to praise and worship God with our whole being. (Psalms 150: 1-6; John 4:24).

We believe that in Godly living and the pursuit of a holy life should be the goal of every believer. (Hebrews 12:14; Philippians 3:14).

We believe that believers should be water baptized by immersion for the circumcision of our hearts. Its through baptism that we publicly identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Colosians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38).

Strategic Plan

  • Biblical Teaching – The authority and power of Gods word changes life. We teach his word in accuracy and integrity with a view toward adjusting our lives to the standards of Gods word (Isaiah 55:8-11; 2 Timothy 13:16-17; 4:2).
  • Growth in Christ – Our growing loyalty to Christ and an authentic relationship with him is the norm. We seek to advance people in the journey of becoming passionately committed followers of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 22:37; Philippians 1:6; Deuteronomy 5: 7- 10).
  • Worship – Authentic and Holistic worship is vital to spiritual health. We celebrate God in our personal and corporate lives. (Matthew 22:37; John 4: 23-24).
  • Prayers – Prayer makes a critical difference. We pray as a first priority before launching into any endeavor. (Philippians 4: 6-7; James 5:16, Proverbs 3: 5-6).
  • Team Ministry – Believers have a responsibility to steward their gifts in community with others. We serve in teams. (Romans 12:4-6; 1st Corinthians 12:7,11-13; Ephesians 4:11-12; Philippians 2:2).
  • Outreach – Recovering the lost is a high priority. So we invest in communicating the good news in biblical and relevant ways to bring people to Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Luke 19:10)
  • Excellence in service – Excellence, integrity, creativity, purity, balance and authenticity are the standards God honors. So we strive to offer to God our best in carrying out his ministry to people. (2 Chronicles 16:9; Colossians 3:23; 2 Timothy 2:15).
  • Small Groups – Small groups are catalytic for spiritual life change. So we center our efforts in discipleship on involving people in the context of a small group. (Matthew 10:1-11; 2 Timothy 2:2).
