Bishop Daniel Musau’s Biography

Bishop Musau started preaching the gospel at a very young age in his father’s farm. He gave his life to Christ after finishing high school and joined a bible believing church in the city where he began to serve as an usher. These were the most fruitful years in his walk as new believer because learned the art of servanthood and what it means to serve others, he also learned about intercessory prayer.

He served under Rev. Ubi Abum from Calabar in Nigeria for several years as a senior pastor of Deliverance Tabernacle church in Nairobi Kenya before going for further studies to the USA.

During his final year at Criswell College in Dallas, God spoke to him that He had not only brought him here to study, but also to evangelize the nation and those that God would send his way.

And thus, began the journey to the birthing of ……The Living Well Church.

Late Bishop Daniel Musau had been in ministry close to 30 years. Together with his wife Pastor Margaret Musau they founded The Living Well Church in Arlington TX in February 2002. Their love for God and lost souls led them to plant several churches in Africa. Bishop Musau saved as the Senior Pastor and Overseer of the Living Well Churches until he transitioned to glory on November 15th. 2021. He loved to teach and preach the gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ and had a heart for missions. He travelled to several countries over the world preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ which brought him a lot of fulfilment.

Bishop Musau was married to his beautiful wife Pastor Maggie and their marriage was blessed with two wonderful children Joshua and Joy.

Late Bishop Daniel Musau had a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies and a Maters of arts in Philosophy of Theology from Criswell College in Dallas Texas.

To put it from a friend’s perspective, Bishop Daniel Musau was A Rare Seed of Uniqueness Planted by God with a Purpose!


Pastor Maggie Musau has been in ministry for over 20 years, serving the last 20 years besides her late husband Bishop Daniel Musau. Together they founded The Living Well Church in Arlington Texas in February 2002 and served side by side until his demise in November 2021. Their love for missions and lost souls led them to have over five churches plants globally. Through this, she has been able to take her love for the body of Christ to do mission work both locally and internationally.

Pastor Maggie has served in various capacities in the ministry, as the pst. of worship and media ministry, pst. for women ministry and also served in church administration. Her passion is to preach and teach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. She finds fulfilment in seeing lives transformed by the finished work at Calvary and in seeing people realize their full potential. She believes everyone has a purpose in life and each one of us plays an important role in building the body of Christ. She believes and teaches that regardless of someone’s past mistakes or background, God loves them and can help them live a fulfilled life in Him.

Pastor Maggie was married to the Late Bishop Daniel Musau for 28 years and their marriage was blessed with two wonderful children, Joshua, and Joy. Late Bishop Daniel Musau transitioned to glory on November 15th. 2021.

Pastor Maggie Musau holds a Bachelor of Business and a master’s degree in Christian Leadership.


Pastor Daniel Kasyula Kyalo’s Biography

Daniel Kyalo came to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ way back in February 1997 at an open-air crusade in Kenya’s Capital City, Nairobi. As soon as he got saved, he actively got involved in a local Church. He would attend Lunch Hour meetings which were held daily in Nairobi’s City Hall premises besides a Bible study which was held on a week day in every week after working hours.

One day, as they were exiting the building after one of those evening Bible studies, his Pastor looked at him in the company of his brother and uttered these words, “God is telling me that you will become a preacher.” It was those words that ignited his passion to seek what God had in store for him concerning ministry. In late 1997, Daniel moved to the countryside where he served in a local Church as an interpreter and a leader of a Home Bible Church cell group. In the year 2000, he was asked by his Pastor in Nairobi to consider joining a seminary school, he graciously accepted and he was in school for three years that followed.

Daniel was prayed to take up a Pastoral role in ministry in April 2003. Thereafter, he served as a mission’s pastor in his then local church in Nairobi, it was an opportunity that got him involved in the wondrous work of Jesus as they ministered to some of the Least People groups in Kenya as well as church planting in Rwanda and Congo. Towards the end of the first decade of the new millennium, God opened a door for him to relocate to the United States.

In 2012, God ordered his steps to join The Living Well Church Family where he was graciously received by Late Bishop Musau and the brethren. He was ordained in July 2013, and he continues to be a proud family member of the local church and the universal body of the Lord Jesus Christ to whom he owes his allegiance. Daniel is married to Sophia, the two are blessed with three amazing gifts, Jeremy, Joy and Jaron.


Pastor James Ochuka’s Biography

Pastor Dr. James Ochuka has been with the Living Well Church since its inception (22 years). He was one of the few members who met at the late bishop’s house for a year, praying for direction before the church’s founded. Since then, he has been a pillar in the ministry, serving in various capacities. Pastor James served as an usher for several years and as a deacon, and he was later appointed as the chairman of the deacon board, serving in this role for over five years.

In December 2004, Pastor James and his wife, Caroline, were joined in holy matrimony by the late bishop. Their wedding was one of a kind because it was the first at the Living Well Church. Immediately after their marriage, Pastor James and Caroline were appointed patrons of the singles ministry. They served the singles ministry faithfully for several years.

On September 25, 2016, Pastor James was ordained as a pastor at the Living Well Church by the late Bishop Daniel Musau. He and his wife have enjoyed serving God by serving His people at the Living Well Church and currently, they are both serving as the patrons for the couple’s ministry. With his medical background, Pastor James has been part of the Living Well Church medical missions’ team since 2009, with the first mission to Karachuonyo, Kenya; a mission to Haiti in 2015; and several others to Kenya, Lebanon, and Egypt.

Pastor James is a nurse practitioner, the chief medical officer, and one of the managing partners at TotalCare in Fort Worth, Texas. He has excelled for over 18 years in nursing because he cares for his patients’ health and well-being. His experience includes family practice, cardiac nursing, rehabilitation, long-term acute care, and nursing home care.

Originally from Nairobi, Kenya, Pastor James received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing and a Doctor of Nursing practice from The University of Texas at Arlington. He is also part of Catalyst Health Group, one of the accountable care organizations for independently owned primary care clinics. He serves on Catalyst’s Quality and Utilization Committee Board.

He was recently appointed the board chairman after serving as the secretary for Hope Literacy, an international organization promoting literacy. Pastor James is also an independent certified coach, teacher, and speaker with The John Maxwell Team. He and Caroline are blessed with three children: Danielle, David, and Dejon. Above all Pastor James loves the Lord and he finds joy in connecting and serving others.
